Not quite striking as the Yahoo-MS rumors, but Springnote did team up with Yahoo! Korea. In short, you can find Springnote on the Yahoo! Korea frontpage. Here's a link to the Springnote on Yahoo page.

Korea's Internet landscape is still mainly dominated by portals, such as Naver, Daum and Yahoo! Korea, so it's a common practice to build partnerships with major portals for smaller standalone services like Springnote. That's the ecosystem that's been built around Korea. I think it's good for both large and small Internet companies in that portals get to introduce many great services, which they themselves can't often develop and the small ones get more chances to meet more people.

Another thing is that Yahoo! Korea is mainly a media site while Springnote is a tool service. So, does this mean the Yahoo placement will bring the best out of Springnote to the media consumers? We're more dying to see what happens.

So, if you find a Korean friend you wants to find Springnote, pointing that friend to Yahoo! Korea now is another good start as well :)
